Summary: Motocross, the off-road dirt bike racing sport, was started in Camberly, Surrey in 1924. Today, there are national, international and world competitions. The race courses are made up of jumps, ramps, sand/mud pits and sharp turns and riders are in competition for the fastest time. There is an extreme amount of physical fitness needed for competing in these challenges. There are different levels of competing depending on what size of motorcycle you choose. 250cc bikes are the premier class and the 50cc are usually considered beginner bikes (for the peewee races).

About the Expert
Chris Kelley, also known as CK, grew up in Western New York riding motorcyles on the farm and racing motocross. He began stunt work at local theme parks, and eventually progressed to working stunts across the country, including New York, Ohio, Massachusetts, Florida, Texas, and currently Los Angeles, California. CK works as an actor in television and film as well as a stuntman in the Waterworld Show at Universal Studios in Hollywood and the Batman Stunt Show at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
